My name is Mia Rose Thackston and I am a level 10 at Capital Gymnastics National Training Center. I will begin my collegiate gymnastics career at Temple University in the fall of 2020.
I love gymnastics and competing as part of my team. In addition to school and gymnastics, I'm president of the Kappa Rho chapter of Eta Sigma Alpha, National Honor Society. I also volunteer with the Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation helping find homes for homeless animals, and I own and operate my own jewelry design business that I started when I was 7 years old. I have always donated a portion of my jewelry sales to Heifer International to help families living in poverty around the world and so far, I have donated more than $1,900. In my free time I love to read, draw, and spend time with friends and my family. |
